Hours are weather permitting and change seasonally based on sunset.
Our policy regarding hours of operation will be: NO WEATHER RESTRICTIONS.
We will be open Thursday – Sunday every week for members and guests. All shooters will be asked to use their best judgment regarding weather conditions. However, in the case of lightning, it is mandatory that members and guests stop shooting and cease all activities on the property. Due to Covid-19 all shooters and guests will be asked to wait inside their car until the lightning stops. Shooting will resume when conditions permit.
We require a waiver to be signed by both shooters and non-shooters. Please bring a valid form of ID each visit.
PARENTS:
If you are bringing your child who is under the age of 18 to Clove
Spring at MNL Farm, you will have to complete a waiver on-site for both
yourself and your child.
All of our shooting facilities are outdoor ranges.
We are first come, first served for the following:
1) Sporting Clay Course
2) 1 Round of Skeet Shooting if you provide your own gun and ammo
3) 1 Round of Trap Shooting if you provide your own gun and ammo
For all other services, you can contact instructors directly for a private lesson. Full package Trap or Skeet session are bookable here .
Clove Spring at MNL Farm supplies all eye and ear protection.
You should bring/wear closed toe shoes. Regarding the firearms, if you are renting a shotgun, everything is supplied; however, if you are bringing your own shotgun, you must also bring your own ammunition.
Not specifically, but groups of more than 5 people will be split into two separate squads.
Each guest will have basic safety training provided by Clove Spring at MNL Farm. For beginners, we recommend booking a lesson with one of our instructors.
The minimum age required to shoot is 12. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES.
Private lessons are available from our staff of trained instructors. To book a lesson, contact us at reservation@csrange.com. Private lessons are for one or two people at a time. For larger groups, please contact us to discuss accommodations.
Yes, we charge a minimum of 25 clays. Our sporting clays course uses a card activated system that counts what you throw. When you check out after shooting, we charge for the number of clays you used.
At this time, pistols are prohibited.
Shooters are allowed to bring their own shotguns and ammo as long as they meet the rules and regulations set by our guidelines on our website.
All target presentations require only 2 shots to be taken. No three shots allowed.
We offer shotgun ammo in gauge 12, 20, 28 and .410 in shot size 7 ½, 8, and 9.
Skeet targets are crossing targets but in shooting trap, all of the targets are outgoing targets that are moving away from you from one Wobble machine. Sporting clays have a wide variety of target presentations that are thrown. Five Stand is a cross between Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays with the advantage that it is more action packed than Trap, has more crossing/flying patterns than Skeet and is faster than Sporting Clays.
Our facility is open to the public. All guests (both shooters and non-shooters) will be required to bring a valid form of identification, sign a waiver and sign our rules & regulations document. Guests must also attend a brief on-site safety overview given by our lead instructor before beginning. Please note, guests who are bringing their own firearms will also be required to show their firearms license.
Our calendar is open as far in advance as you would like. Reservations for last minute appointments will be based on availability. We require prepayment for all reservations. You have 72 hours prior to your shooting date if you need to cancel. Some services require no reservation and are a first come, first serve basis.
